Each walk carries the practical things a person actually needs before setting out:

• Getting there — where to park, and what the last road in is like
• The track — surface, signage, and whether it holds up after rain
• Distance and time — realistic, including stops
• What you’ll see — the reason to go, without overselling it
• Where to eat afterwards — because a good day out ends with lunch
